Monday, June 8th, 2009 By James Leave a Comment

Leading entertainment lighting supplier White Light will be exhibiting some of the very latest lighting technology at the 2009 ABTT Theatre Show this week, continuing an association with the show that stretches all the way back to the first show in 1978. This year’s show takes place on June 10th and 11th at the Royal Horticultural Halls, close to Victoria Station in London.

White Light’s stand, stand 27 in the Lindley Hall, will feature a wide range of LED lighting products, demonstrating how LED fixtures now offer solutions for a wide range of lighting challenges. On show will be the Cyc9 cyc-lighting panel, SpectraLed 144 and SpectraWOW! LED spotlight from LDDE plus the JBLED A7 Zoom washlight with variable beam control, as well as the spectacular Illieum Fusion 672 LED panel which allows the creation of LED effects of many types and layouts.

Accompanying the LED fixtures will be a range of more conventional equipment, including the Victor 1800W followspot, Quincy 575W MSD profile spot, and Le CIN’K Fresnel and Lutin PC/Fresnel from Robert Juliat, the Infinity ACL and Infinity Spot S low wattage, high-output moving lights from Coemar, and the ever-popular Rainbow range of colour scrollers.

Also on show will be a range of useful lighting devices from companies distributed in the UK exclusively by White Light, including the Wireless Solutions Wireless DMX system, the compact BlackBox R-512 micro receiver, plus the showStore XLan recorder, Focus Brain and Focus Hand remotes and the Sidekick Universal Programmable Faderboard from ELC.

Effects being demonstrated will include White Light’s new VSFX3, the updated version of the ever-popular VSFX optical effects system and the award-winning White Light Snow Machine, as well as the range of smoke and haze products from Look Solutions – Unique 2, Power Tiny, Tiny Fogger and Viper. The One Truss and Swing Wing Truss ranges from Tomcat round out the product range on stand 27.

Elsewhere at the show – on stand 130 in the Lawrence Hall – Australian lighting manufacturer LSC, whose products are distributed in the UK by White Light, will be showing their latest lighting tools, including the Redback 12-way dimmer, the EKO 24-way dimmer, the E24 touring 24-way dimmer rack, the MDR data splitter available in truss-mount or rack-mount forms, plus the Minim and maXim lighting controllers.
