Stage Electrics continues to invest heavily in new products for its extensive hire portfolio. Additions to existing lines include another 200 generic lanterns and more Prolyte H30V and X30D truss. The company’s hire stock now boasts more Clay Paky Alpha Beam 300’s, some of which are currently on Oliver! The Musical at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

New products include the powerful Martin MAC III Profile high performance moving heads with 1500 W short arc discharge lamp, which has already proved popular as a hire item. Stage Electrics has also invested in Martin MAC 301’s, the brightest LED moving head in its class, with a powerful fast and impressive zoom range and are one of the first distributors to have rental stock of this compact unit. Although both new lines, these units have already been supplied by Stage Electrics to a variety of live music events and corporate conferences including the Rotary International Convention held at the Birmingham NEC in June.

Martin Jem K1 Hazers are another new addition presently on hire to Universal Arts at The Edinburgh Festival and also on the national tour of Spike’s War, a new production based on Spike Milligan’s celebrated war memoirs.

ETC control consoles have also been added to the Stage Electrics stock with ION desks currently operating across the country on hire to UK tours of Chicago and Rain Man. The acclaimed ETC EOS lighting consoles are now back in hire stock after successful hires to Zorro the Musical, Flashdance the Musical and West Side Story’s national tour. The EOS’ unlimited power coupled with the ability to import show files have made the console a popular and essential hire product with many West End and national theatre tours requesting the EOS as their preferred industry standard desk.

As the main UK distributor for Arkaos, the company has introduced the Arkaos A05 media server into its hire stock to control existing colour web and LED screens. The Arkaos A-Series Media Servers are designed for customers who demand a high performance turnkey solution to seamlessly run their real-time video performances. The powerful and effective A05 also includes MediaMaster, a fast video solution software for lighting designers.
