Robert Juliat has announced a further addition to its international family of dealers with the appointment of Lighting Bits Ltd of Brazil. Operating out of Sao Paulo and headed by Daniel Ridano, Lighting Bits Ltda will be exclusively responsible for Robert Juliat products across Brazil, and non-exclusively across the wider Latin American market.
Ridano is well placed to introduce Robert Juliat into this region having been involved in the theatre scene since 1995, installing lighting equipment into the Teatro Argentino de La Plata for Robert Juliat’s Argentinian dealer. “The quality and reliability of Robert Juliat fixtures is unique,” he states. “Robert Juliat is a dream product in any project where quality is a must.
“In addition to this, the technical and project support offered by the Robert Juliat team is superb.”
Lighting Bits exhibited Robert Juliat fixtures – Cyrano 2500W HMI, Victor 1800W MSR and Buxie 575W MSD followspots and the full range of RJ zoom profile spots – for the first time in September 2010 at the Lighting Week trade fair in Sao Paulo. “The response was fantastic,” says Ridano. “Visitors to the show were at first surprised, and then very excited that, at last, they are able to get Robert Juliat lighting equipment in Brazil. Even those who were not familiar with RJ could immediately recognise the quality of these premium products against those commonly available in Brazil.
“To represent such a range, one must be prepared to back it up with the high level of support and customer service they deserve. This is something which we take very seriously at Lighting Bits as our portfolio of manufacturers can testify.
“We are looking forward to making Robert Juliat the first name for quality in South America, as it is globally.”
Lionel Garraud, Sales Director for Robert Juliat says, “We chose Daniel because he possesses a sharp knowledge of the Latin American market, has a lot of experience in the theatre environment and a high degree of professionalism – all invaluable qualities for supporting Robert Juliat’s customers in this region.”
