Innovative live communications and production company DesignScene expands with the addition of Matthew Rickard to the project/production management team.
DesignScene has built it’s reputation as a leading agency producing the most unique, imaginative interactive live and experiential events, uniting high production values and technical excellence with outstanding design content and complete attention to detail in dynamic collaborations.
Rickard has a background in music, live performance and experientials and joins the west London based company mid-way through an exceptionally busy year. As a senior production manager, he will be heading up the production department and working closely with DesignScene’s founder, creative director and show producer Attila Keskin, together with others in the company.
Keskin comments, “It is challenging to find people who are exactly the right fit. We wanted a knowledgeable production manager with great communication skills and hands-on technical and practical experience to compliment our multi-disciplined team, and Matt is a perfect match. Music is integral to most of our work, so his past experience with bands and DJs will be invaluable”.
Rickard’s energy, enthusiasm and broad skill base will be in action on a cross-section of DesignScene projects, helping to deliver a diversity of events from branded experientials to one-offs and sampling, involving live events, corporate conferences, exhibitions and product launches.

He adds that DesignScene’s penchant for integrating the latest AV and production techniques into its designs and productions – which has put the company in a class of its own – is an area of real interest.
Rickard’s appointment is part of a planned expansion to DesignScene’s full time and regular freelance teams over the next year.
