Robe lighting and its Brazilian distributor Newart exhibited at the 4th edition of the International Professional Lighting Exhibition staged at the Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The well organised stand – built by Apple Produçoes – featured Robe’s brand new Pointe multi-purpose moving light and MiniMe LED multimedia and effects luminaire, together with other new technology including the DLS Profile, MMX Spot and WashBeam, LEDWash 1200 and 600 and LEDBeam 100 – all from Robe’s ROBIN series.
The stand was one of the busiest of the exhibition over the three days. It showed off the versatile Robe product range with an eye-catching creative light show attracting the attention of a huge quantity of designers, professionals and operators from different industry sectors. Robe’s new Pointe was the star of the show.
Besides Newart’s own very proactive staff, Robe CEO Josef Valchar, International Sales Director Harry von den Stemmen and Regional Sales Manager for Latin America Guillermo Traverso attended and actively engaged in meeting existing and potential new users of the brand in Brazil.
Several important orders and future projects were closed at the show!
Says Guillermo Traverso, “This was another big chance for us to meet with industry professionals who gather each September for this show, and they came from all over the country. Both the impressive booth set-up and the big visitor turnout clearly show the transformation that the market has undergone … and also Robe’s progress in Brazil in recent years”.
Harry von den Stemmen adds, “The show was very successful with many Robe customers and industry professionals visiting the booth to check out the new products … and I have never seen so many people taking videos and photos of an exhibition lightshow. Recently a large quantity of Robe products were used at the Festa do Peao in Barretos which apparently made many people want to come and take a closer look!”
The exhibition is sponsored and organised by Francal Feiras in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Professional Lighting (ABRIP), and features lighting products, services and solutions for all industry sectors – architecture, events, shows and broadcast among others.
Running alongside was a series of seminars and workshops presented by well-known professionals.
Carried out in parallel to the Expomusic trade show, the combined visitor figures this year were 53,000!
