White Light has announced the latest addition to the White Light Family of products the company distributes in the UK: Leader Light, the Slovakia-based manufacturer of LED lighting fixtures.
Founded in 1994 by a team who had worked together since 1991, the company first concentrated on manufacturing custom fixtures for architectural projects or to solve specialist requirements for customers. In 2002 Leader Light used their experience in the field to create a range of standard fixtures – a range which has continued to grow ever since.
Today Leader Light offers products including LED battens, floodlights, panels and washlights for both indoor and outdoor use. Many of their products are available in a choice of white LED, for maximum light output, or RGB or RGBA sources where colour versatility is required. All of the products offer high output, the ability to combine fixtures into complex systems and very reasonable prices!
“We first met Peter Threadgold and his team at the PLASA show over five years ago,” comments Leader Light’s Sales Director, Maros Kohut. “When we began looking for a new UK distributor, we invited White Light to visit us. We think they liked what they found as they invited us to be part of the White Light family – an invitation we were proud to accept as it puts us in company with other lighting manufacturers who we respect enormously.”
“Our visit to Leader Light was fascinating,” recalls White Light’s Sales Director Peter Threadgold, “since we found a team of people committed to their products and to investing in the technology to design and build those products. This also gives them the flexibility to create custom variants of their products for particular projects – something we look forward to working with them on as the need arises. We’re delighted to have them as part of our Family of products.”
