A.C Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) Ltd’s Audio division has supplied a significant quantity of premium audio products – including DiGiCo, Yamaha, Soundcraft, Sennheiser Martin Audio, BSS, Denon and Sonifex – to UK based Insync Productions Ltd, to service their busy schedule of events.
Insync Productions is an Audio Visual supplier and provider of technical production, design and rental services, specialising in corporate and live events. As part of the company’s policy, they like to keep their equipment inventory constantly updated with all the latest available technologies.
The supply included a new DiGiCo SD9 mixing console. This well regarded audio desk includes 24 motorised faders, a full complement of on-board processing and effects, dedicated and multi-function control knobs, electronic labelling and new quick-access buttons, making it ideal for mixing a wide variety of sound applications.
The SD9 was specified by Insync Production’s MD Scott Tompkins after careful deliberation. It was supplied with a full D-Rack system, including multicore, which makes it a “Very cost-effective option” confirms Insync Production’s Head of Sound, Ali McGrattan.
Adding to their Yamaha collection, Insync Productions purchased another LS9 digital mixing console, which brings their total to four LS9’s and one M7CL. The LS9 has proven itself as an excellent workhorse sound desk for numerous conference projects.
Additionally, a further four rack-mounted 12-channel Soundcraft MFXi12 mixing desks were delivered. Small, neat and versatile, these are ideal for all types of smaller shows and events.
Insync Productions large Sennheiser wireless microphone system has been boosted with the supply of a quantity of EM-2000 rack mounted single receivers, specifically for the many applications utilising just one microphone.
A selection of Martin Audio power amplifiers were also on the list, again to add to Insync Production’s current stock, and ensure that the latest kit is always available.
Another part of the AC-ET package was a Denon Solid State/ USB Recorder, reflecting the increasing popularity for recording shows and the ease with which this can now be achieved at high quality.
Also included in the sale was a Sonifex Twin Automatic Digital telephone balancing unit. This is a useful tool which allows phone calls to be routed through a mixing console, perfect for press conferences or presentations involving conference calls and satellite link ups. It was used soon after delivery for a London press conference for a high profile European golf tour, linked live to New York.
The order was completed with a number of BSS DI boxes.
A.C. Audio’s Glen Thompson co-ordinated the sale and delivery from the company’s High Wycombe HQ. Ali comments, “As always, the service from AC-ET was quick, efficient and informed, while the products were competitively priced”.
AC-ET’s extensive audio portfolio includes sub-distribution for many of the premium brands available.
